Holiday to the UK

18 08 2010

Finally managed to get away for 3 weeks to join my lovely husband Mark in England to visit friends and family.

It was such a stress the last few days sorting everything out to go, but got there in the end!

Had a fab time with family friends, wine, dinners, shopping, SHOES, MAC!! London, the country and so on – it was GREAT!

Bought some fab clothes and shoes and heaps of wonderful MAC make up – so excited to put it to work!!

Very strange being back in the UK – I haven’t been back properly for 5 years!

But great to see everyone :) xxx

Stormy’s Year 11 Prom!!

15 06 2010

Aw I did Storm’s hair and make up today for her School Prom :) Storm’s the daughter of a really good friend of Gina’s.

She had really tight black curly hair which she wanted straightened so I blow dried and then used my trusty GHDs to straighten her hair, which took nearly 2 hours! But she looked absolutely stunning and had no idea how long her hair really was!

She was such a pretty girl and had a gorgeous Armani dress to wear – we did some really natural, pretty eye make up – peach and pink pale tones and a fab lip gloss for her.

Gina was also there to take some pics of her before she went off with her friends to Prom – Thanks Gina!! :) xxx

My Birthday at Sri Panwa!!

21 04 2010

I have just had the most wonderful birthday at Sri Panwa. Me and my husband Mark booked a beautiful villa for a couple of nights, just as he got back from work :)

The views were absolutely breathtaking, the villa fantastic, the staff were amazing and I was very very happy :)

We invited just a few friends round – Gina, Tim and baby Kingston, Em, Ben and Simone and Joey. So we all had a few drinks and some food around (and in!) the pool.

The staff arranged for a lovely chocolate birthday cake which was very formal, reading; ‘Happy Birthday Lisa Allen’!! Aw. And because there was a wedding going on on the same day, there were fireworks in the evening – beautiful!

Me, Emma and Mark then went for dinner at the Baba Pool Club. They had salas and tables and chairs actually in the pool, which we immediately went to sit in, after a few glasses of wine, to have dessert! The Thai staff were on hand with towels, and thought we were a little strange but nonetheless it was something different and really fun!!xxx
